The draft details aviation regulatory principles relevant to future flight systems and a lifecycle view of assurance to inform decisions at each stage, such as end-of-life considerations, thereby supporting sustainability goals and cost savings. It covers diverse use cases from commercial drone operations to advanced air mobility systems, providing practical guidance to designers and operators navigating compliance requirements and engagement with regulatory bodies like the CAA.
